June News: Congrats to newly minted PhD, Faben Cruz, who is headed to Merck. Vy and Zhiwei present at Chirality, where we caught up with alum Daniel K Kim. Alex and Faben celebrate a project milestone, before Alex heads off to his internship at Aachogen. Plus birthday 🎂’s. Happy summer everyone!

May Update: Congrats to Alex on advancing to candidacy, Faben on winning the Hal Moore Award, and Vy on a UCI Alumni Award. We caught up with past members, Diane in NYC and Tom at UBC. Happy bday’s Alex, Ryan, and Jan.

March Madness: We welcomed prospective students, wished farewell to Yusuke and Bobby, said happy bday Kyle and Vy, & caught up with friends, mentors, and alumni in the French quarter. Happy spring quarter!

January News. Congrats Bubwoong Kang on accepting an assistant professor at Osaka U and becoming a new dad. Welcome Dr Daniel Akwaboah from the Forsyth Group at OSU, undergrad Hillary Nguyen, and visiting scholar Dr Shao-Chen Nie.
