🎭✨ Winter performance prep is in full swing! ✨🎭
Our students have been hard at work, rehearsing and refining every detail for next week’s Winter Performance, and we can’t wait for you to see their incredible talents and trilingual skills on stage!
This special event celebrates their growth in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and English this semester as we head into winter break. The C10 class has even been creating their own hand-painted masks, adding a beautiful touch of Chinese culture and artistry to their performance.
We’re so excited to watch it all come to life! ❄️🌟

Our students C10 and up spent the day preparing and delivering turkey meals to families in Santa Ana, gaining meaningful insight into the community and its diverse living environments.
Through serving families in need, they saw firsthand the challenges many neighbors face, and even put their Spanish skills to use in real-world conversations. We’re so proud of their service, cultural engagement, and ability to connect so thoughtfully with the community!

RSI students enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration in their English classes! This holiday is one of many cultural traditions we highlight throughout the year to enrich learning in our trilingual environment.
At RSI, language learning goes beyond vocabulary and grammar. Each language is taught through immersive, culturally rooted experiences that help students connect more deeply with the people, traditions, and perspectives behind the language.

✨ As part of RSI’s language immersion program, students explored the culture and global awareness behind language learning. They learned about Día de los Muertos—its history, purpose, and how it’s celebrated across Latin America.🌼
Students created their own ofrendas to honor loved ones who have passed, including elements representing water, fire, earth, and wind. They also designed colorful calavera masks to complete the experience. 💀🎨
Learning about different cultures helps us appreciate new perspectives and the many contributions people make around the world. These hands-on experiences enrich our students’ language learning in meaningful ways. 🌍💬
