Please join us for our 2nd Coffee with Counselors of the 2022-2023 school year on Thursday, December 8th from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in Lakeside’s Performing Arts Building. We are so excited to welcome Rick Gramer, Irvine Police Officer, to share how IPD partners with IUSD schools to promote school safety, build community relationships, and support the ever-changing needs of our students and families. Please note, this is a parent/guardian/adult only presentation.

Mariners for Change had our second volunteering opportunity today with Families Forward!
Students bagged produce and was able to distribute bags of traditional Thanksgiving fixings to families so they can cook a delicious holiday meal. This weekend alone Families Forward is expecting to give meals to at least 700 local families in need!
So proud of our students who genuinely enjoy helping others and waking up early on a Saturday morning to volunteer!

Today our 8th graders participated in the Vital Link Career Exhibit Fair learning about anatomy, CPR, 3D printing, automotive, digital media, and robotics! Meanwhile our 7th graders were able to meet Baba the Storyteller at our assembly! Baba was able to showcase his extreme talents of storytelling called Jaliyaa! Thank you to and for their support and time today!

Today we celebrated Red Ribbon Week with our Walk N’ Waffles breakfast! Students and staff started at the Woodbridge Village Center and then were served waffles when they arrived at Lakeside this morning. Thank you to our awesome for donating the waffles, toppings, and helping cook and serve them up!
