Yesterday was the memorial concert my beloved cello teacher. It as also Yo-Yo Ma’s birthday. This photo connects both in my greatest cello moment- just me with Yo-Yo Ma and my cello teacher Irene Sharp (Renie to those in the know)
Yo-Yo has a warm glow from taking shots of vodka on stage with the Russian conductor whose name escapes me.
