The ECHS Y-Club held its first meeting today, and there was a great turnout. Students began preparations for the Kentucky Youth Assembly (KYA) in November. Presiding Officer candidate, Lincoln Wilburn, explained to club members the importance of joining the club, and the lifelong connections that will be made at the events.

On September 22nd we are excited to welcome author Carissa Turpin to ECHS. Carissa is a 2004 graduate of ECHS. She will be meeting with our students and discussing her newest book, A Mess of Monsters. If a student would like to purchase of copy of her book they may do so at the link below. The cost is $14.99.

A Florida publisher of adult and children's books focused on love, wellness, and humor. We also edit, coach, and do author ad design.

🌅 Senior Sunrise — Take Two! 🌅

Wednesday marked the first day of school for the Class of 2027, and while we had hoped to begin their senior year together with Senior Sunrise, Mother Nature had other plans! 🌧️

So this morning, we invited our seniors back to the football field to enjoy a little sunshine, spend time together, and—most importantly—capture some pictures with the friends who will be beside them throughout this final year. 💙🤍

There is something special about watching these students begin their last first year of high school. This year will be filled with lasts, milestones, memories, laughter, and probably a few tears along the way.

Here’s to the Class of 2027 and all the memories still waiting to be made! 🌅🎓💙
