KAC had a wonderful time welcoming 3rd grade students from Laguna Road Elementaryโ€™s Korean Dual Immersion Program for a hands-on field trip.

Students explored the full Korean Peninsula (ํ•œ๋ฐ˜๋„)and learned about Koreaโ€™s traditional 8 regions through teamwork, mapping, and discussion.

Thank you to Laguna Road Elementary and Fullerton School District for this meaningful partnership!

Final Cultural Session: Exploring the Beauty of Bukchon ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท

This week, we dived into the world of Korean architecture through our theme, "Curves and Serenity: Bukchon."
We discovered the charm of Seoulโ€™s representative Hanok village and captured its beauty by coloring postcards of Bukchon's most famous photo spots.

Sharing our hearts through handwritten postcardsโ€”what a beautiful way to connect culture and love! ๐Ÿ’Œ

Week 2: Curves and Serenity (Hanok)

Following that amazing week, our Week 2 Culture Class took a deep dive into "Curves and Serenity: Hanok."

Students learned all about the unique characteristics and peaceful architectural beauty of Hanok (traditional Korean houses). To bring their learning to life, everyone got creative by coloring and building their very own miniature Hanok models! ๐Ÿชต๐ŸŽจ

Take a look at how beautifully they captured the elegance of Korea's traditional architecture! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ
