Please help save the Katie Wheeler Library! Irvine City Council plans on closing Heritage Park and University Park libraries for refurbishment, and transition from the Orange County Public Library system to a city owned and operated library. They are planning on CLOSING PERMANENTLY and tearing down the Katie Wheeler library. This library has so much city history. It was burned down in 1960's, and rebuilt to exact replica in the early 2000's. Residents of North Irvine and Tustin use this library.

Save the local public library! Katie Wheeler library is an historic landmark and the city of Irvine wants to shut it down to make office space for city workers. We only have 3 libraries in the city to serve over 350,000 people. Don't let them close this library.
