And that’s not all—Chris is truly a star in every sense! Beyond the piano, he also enjoys playing the cello, honing his skills in golf, and studying Hebrew—what a wonderfully talented and well-rounded young musician!

Huge congratulations to Miranda on her very first competition—what an exciting milestone! She truly rose to the challenge, taking on a long and demanding piece filled with intricate finger work and a variety of musical characters. And she delivered it beautifully! We’re so proud to celebrate her recent achievement—1st Place at the MTAC Contemporary Festival (Age 10 & under)!

Multiple congratulations to our talented Qianer! She won 1st place in MTAC scholarship competition on flute, performing both Hoover’s Winter Spirits and Telemann’s Fantasy beautifully. She quickly changed gear and competed in the Southern California Junior Bach Festival on piano and flute. She is the selected winner to perform in the complete works round in October on BOTH instruments! Way to go, Qianer!

🏆 Congratulations to Amy Zhang on winning 1st Place in Senior Division III at the Helen B. Goodlin Scholarship Competition in San Diego!

And as an incredible achievement, she was also awarded a $3,000 scholarship prize! ✨

Amy travels all the way from San Diego every week for her piano lessons, and her dedication and commitment have been truly inspiring. Behind every young musician’s journey is tremendous support, and we would also like to give a very special thank you to Amy’s mother for her tireless driving, encouragement, and unwavering dedication week after week. ❤️

Everett is on a roll! 🎹🔥

Just this past weekend (Sat 5/23), Everett performed Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Sempre Musik Orchestra at the historic Methuen Memorial Music Hall in Massachusetts.

And there’s no slowing down…

This coming weekend, Everett will take on the monumental Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3 again — twice — as a featured soloist with the Southern California Philharmonic in their 2026 Young Artists Showcase.

Concert week after week — an exciting season of performances and a true test of endurance, artistry, and consistency. Rach 3 is one of the most demanding works in the piano repertoire, and performing it repeatedly on major stages is both an incredible challenge and an extraordinary opportunity.

It has been such a wonderful experience watching Lindsay blossom—not only in her playing, but also in her growing confidence and eagerness to embrace new challenges! Over the past year and a half, it’s been incredible to see her journey from limited familiarity with the instrument to feeling so much more at ease executing and expressing her musical ideas.
Most of all, the joy she feels when she performs truly shines through. Lindsay has worked so hard, and she absolutely deserves this beautiful moment! Lindsay has been invited to perform at the Nixon Library alongside with Angelina, Hannah and Mannas.

Congratulations to Angelina Nguyen on an incredible past three months! She successfully completed the Certificate of Merit with all “Excellent” ratings, was named an alternate winner in the MTAC State Solo Competition, and achieved back-to-back wins at both the Musical Arts Music Competition and the Contemporary Festival. It has been truly inspiring to watch Angelina step beyond her comfort zone, taking on demanding—and even her least favorite—repertoire with such determination and growth. She has also been invited to perform at the Nixon Library alongside her Opus 119 peers—what a wonderful honor!

Hannah has been unstoppable! Her accomplishments just keep pouring in—performing in charity concerts, earning top honors at the Certificate of Merit Panel, winning both the branch and regional rounds of the Bach Festival, and securing 1st prize at Musical Arts. And wait… did we mention she also took 1st place last year?!

Our very own Krispy Kreme delivery guy, Lukas, has been busy juggling sweet deliveries and conquering multiple repertoires like a pro! Talk about multitasking! Huge congratulations to Lukas on his fantastic achievements at the Musical Arts Piano Competition and the MTAC Contemporary Festival—what a star!
