It was incredible to be back this season after a 2 year break! We had a great time in the Galileo division this year in World Champs, winning the Imagery Award and getting finalists in our division with our alliance partners FRC Team 846 - The Funky Monkeys, Argos 1756, and FRC Team 498 l The Cobra Commanders. Thank you to all of our mentors and parents that made this season possible! We would also like to thank our sponsors and through their support, it allowed us to build our robot Eclipse this season!
This entire season was a whirlwind winning both regional that we attended for the first time in our history. We're so excited to continue our outreach events and participate in events during the offseason, and can't wait to see what's in store for us next year!
Team 3476 strives to inspire students to explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and to empower students to incorporate multidisciplinary skills learned through outreach, leadership, and business in their future endeavors.
FIRST, For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring young people to excel in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through programs such as the FIRST Robotics Competition and FIRST LEGO League. See www.firstinspires.org.
FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) is designed to provide a rigorous engineering challenge to high school students as well as teach leadership, collaboration, and project management at a professional level. Over 3,000 teams compete worldwide. Each team builds a robot to compete in a new game released in early January and ends with the World Championship in late April.
