Child's World Preschool is an integral part of the ministry of University United Methodist Church, and has been providing high quality developmentally appropriate preschool programs for over 29 years. Child's World is an in*******al, nonprofit organization, governed by the Preschool Advisory Board of the University United Methodist Church. Since the opening of Child's World in September in 1972, o
ver 5,000 children have benefited from its programs. Child's World was one of the first programs in Irvine to receive an accreditation by the National Association of the Education of Young Children for excellence in early childhood programs. Our teachers are selected for their experience, enthusiasm and training in early childhood education. Teachers hold membership in the Orange County Association for the education of Young Children. Regularly scheduled staff meetings and professional development activities encourage staff members to continually increase their knowledge of developmentally appropriate teaching practice.
