We recently installed the Easyxafs, LLC technology at IMRI. Its x-ray spectrometers give synchrotron-quality spectra and game-changing scientific freedom to research labs. It can be used in multidisciplinary research projects in catalysis, electrochemistry, photoelectrochemistry, chemiresistive sensing, quantum computers, and efficient use of nuclear fuels. It will provide researchers at UCI, and external users throughout California and beyond, with a competitive advantage.
The instrument is now available for reservations: https://imri.uci.edu/facilities/
