“Hi! My name is Michelle and I am going into my senior year here at UCI. I decided to go through recruitment my freshman year because I knew that I wanted to meet a lot of people in college and find my circle. Even though I know recruitment can be overwhelming, I am so grateful I went through with it because I have found so many of my closest friends and met so many amazing individuals through not only my chapter but also the process of recruitment. As someone from the Bay Area, I knew that I wanted to find my niche within such a big school in Southern California. Getting to know everyone from Gamma phi beta was truly a blessing and something that I will cherish forever.”

“Hello everyone! I’m Athena the current chapter president! When I was going through recruitment, I chose Gphi because it was the place that felt like home. I fell in love with every single person I talked to and felt like I belonged there. The entire time I was at the Gphi house being recruited, I just felt so loved and welcomed - and I was pretty much laughing the whole time! I felt incredibly drawn to the values of gamma phi beta, and I felt that everyone I talked to exemplified those values. Fast forward to now, I couldn’t imagine my life without gamma phi beta and my sisters and I know that this community will be in my life forever. I feel so grateful and lucky to be chapter president, and represent and serve the organization I love so dearly.”

“I chose to join Gphi because of how welcoming and kind all of the girls I met were. I had met a few active members before going through COB in the winter, and I knew Gphi was perfect for me! I love being able to see everyone at meetings and events. No matter what mood I’m in, being able to see everyone always puts a smile on my face. I have never been in a space where I feel as comfortable as I do when I’m with my sisters. Gphi has brought so many amazing people my way, and I am so grateful for that!♥️♥️“

“Hi my name is Ava and I’m the Public Relations VP! I’m currently going into my senior year and I joined in fall ‘23 and 3 years later I’m filled with nothing but love for the experiences and relationships I’ve gained from choosing Gphi! This chapter has given me some of my best friends, greatest college memories, shoulders to cry on, laughter that makes my stomach hurt, amazing leadership opportunities, and a never ending support system. When I went through recruitment, I immediately felt so welcomed and could feel the love radiating through the girls, and 3 years later that feeling hasn’t changed. I’m forever grateful that going through recruitment gave me Gamma Phi! 💝”

CONVENTION 2026 🐎💓

This past weekend our President, Athena Leckie, our Membership Vice President, Isabella Paz, our Education Vice President, Mackenzie Adams, and our Standards Chairwoman, Sarah Pietrantonio, had the opportunity to travel to Louisville, Kentucky to attend and represent Delta Eta at Gamma Phi Beta’s International Convention!

At convention Delta Eta took home four awards: Panhellenic Affairs Excellence, Academic Excellence, Financial Excellence, and the Lilian Thompson Individual Leadership Award for our girl Kiera Lefkowitz! We are so grateful to have been honored in this way and so thankful for our members for continuing to contribute meaningfully to our chapter!

We are proud of these amazing girls for representing Delta Eta at convention and we are so happy they had the best time there! A special thank you goes out to our advisors Anna Reiser, Katherine Chahda, and Andrea Amador for supporting our girls all weekend! We are so lucky to have you as mentors and grateful your love for this chapter still grows strong in the crescent moon💓🌙
