Mazal tov to Roei Ovadia (UCI Class of 2019) and Jenna Backman on their wedding this past Sunday in beautiful Mexico! We were especially honored that Hillel at UCI’s rabbi Daniel Levine officiated the ceremony and helped make their special day even more meaningful.

Hillel Global Giving Week wrapped up on Friday, and because of your incredible generosity, it was a resounding success. From our Hillel Heroes who led the way early on, to the dedicated community supporters who jumped in to meet our 2X match challenge, you have shown our students that they have an entire community behind them.

As our community continues to grow, we’re entering a new chapter. Our current Hillel House has been an incredible space for Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, and other events where we have grown and become closer.

Starting in March, we will be moving to campus for the time being. All of your favorite events will still be happening, but just in new locations.

We’re so proud of how much this community has grown and so grateful to everyone who’s been part of it. Although a big transition, we are excited for what the future holds for us.
