Congratulations to our ESL 1 student, Anton Xuan Zheng Wong, whose artwork, The Silverlight Bonsai, is currently on display at the Student Art Exhibition at the Fine Arts Gallery at Irvine Valley College. ๐ฟ๐
Created with LED aluminum wire and hand-twisted metal string, Antonโs bonsai sculpture reflects themes of patience, growth, and perseverance. ๐
In Antonโs words:
โAt a time when I felt unsure about my future, those small moments of encouragement from people around me truly lit me up and gave me more confidence. To me, this piece is about quiet growth and patience.โ ๐
โก๏ธ You can see Antonโs work and many other incredible student art pieces in person through July 13 at the Fine Arts Gallery (FA 102). Gallery hours are MondayโWednesday, 11 a.m.โ4 p.m.
โจ We are proud to celebrate Antonโs creativity and talent with our campus community! ๐๐
