🚒🚓🚜 Thank You for Joining Us at the Touch-A-Truck Show! 🚜🚓🚒

The Gogebic-Ontonagon Intermediate School District (GOISD) Family Engagement Program would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended our Touch-A-Truck Show at Gogebic Community College! 💙

The evening was filled with fun, learning, and community connection as families, children, local businesses, and community helpers came together for this special event.

Children had the exciting opportunity to explore a variety of trucks and emergency vehicles up close while meeting the amazing people who help keep our communities running every day. 🚑👮‍♂️🚧 Families also enjoyed hands-on activities, delicious food vendors, coffee, and quality time together in a welcoming environment. ☕🌮🎉

A very special thank you goes out to:

The Touch-A-Truck Show was created to bring families together, encourage community involvement, and provide children with fun educational experiences outside of the classroom. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful support from our community and look forward to hosting more family events in the future! 💛

Today, we had the incredible honor of welcoming Dr. Glenn Maleyko, State Superintendent, to our GOISD Early Childhood Spring Concert!

Dr. Maleyko spent time with our students, families, and staff, and shared his genuine passion for early childhood education and the important foundation it creates for lifelong success. He personally thanked our early childhood educators for the meaningful work they do each day to support and inspire young learners , something our staff deeply appreciated.

We are also incredibly proud of GOISD Early Childhood Director, Meghan Lane, and our entire Early Childhood team for the dedication, care, and opportunities they provide to children and families across our communities.

Thank you, Dr. Maleyko, for taking the time to join us and celebrate our students today. It was truly a special afternoon for GOISD Early Childhood! 💙💚

We are so proud of our GOISD Early Childhood team. This past week, our LLECC childcare providers and GSRP staff had the opportunity to attend the U.P. Early Childhood Conference in Marquette. From a full day dedicated to literacy to a day of engaging sessions, our staff came back inspired, motivated and full of new ideas to bring into our classrooms. What makes this even more special is knowing that children in our care birth through age 5 are benefiting from consistent, high quality practices. Our entire team is on the same page, working together to provide the very best early learning experiences for every child.
We are grateful for opportunities like this that allow us to continue to grow and strengthening our program for the families we serve. 🖍️📚🎨

🐰🌸 Little Learners Update 🌸🐰

Just a reminder to all of our families that Little Learners Early Childhood Center will be closed tomorrow in observance of Good Friday.

We had such a wonderful time at our Easter Egg Hunt yesterday! The kids had an absolute blast, and it was so much fun seeing their excitement as they searched for eggs and enjoyed celebrating together. 💛🥚

Thank you to our amazing staff for creating such a fun and memorable experience for our students—and to our families for being part of our Little Learners community.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy Easter weekend! 🌷🐣

Families interested in enrolling their child in GSRP Preschool for the 2026–2027 school year are invited to attend one of our upcoming Registration Socials. This is a great opportunity to learn about the program, ask questions, and receive help completing your child’s application.
