Last week, Ironton Middle School hosted a Career Day for all students, and it was a tremendous success! Students had the opportunity to learn about a variety of careers in our area, as well as explore college and military options for life after high school.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the businesses and individuals who took time out of their day to invest in our students and share valuable insight about future career opportunities. Their willingness to give back made this event both meaningful and memorable for our students.

A special thank you and recognition go to the following organizations and individuals: Ohio University, Marathon Petroleum, Ironton Fire Department, People's Bank, United States Army, Community Hospice, Community Action Organization, CCMEP, NECCO, Ashland YMCA, and UK King’s Daughters (OT, PT, Critical Care, and Labor & Delivery).

Today, our 6th grade teachers had the honor of handing out awards to students in recognition of their hard work, growth, and success throughout the school year. We are so proud of all that our students have accomplished and the dedication they have shown each day in the classroom.
