This week we recognize the central service technicians who clean and sterilize the instruments used in every surgery. Patients rarely see this work, but every operating room depends on it.

Registration is open for our 6-month Central Service Technician program, which trains you for a fast-paced healthcare career supporting patient safety behind the scenes. When you finish, you can move directly into our Surgical Technology program.

Early voting is open in Lawrence County for the November 3 general election.

Early in-person voting hours change daily. Call the Lawrence County Board of Elections at (740) 532-0444 or check their website for the full schedule.

Lawrence County Joint Vocational School District (Collins Career Technical Center) has a permanent improvement tax levy renewal on the ballot. The graphic shows the ballot language so you can read it before you vote.

Superintendent Adam Pittis toured PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of South Point this week alongside our high school and Adult Education nursing students, getting an inside look at the facility.
Two of PAM Health's leaders were on the other side of that tour as CCTC alumni: CEO Rodney Midkiff and Leslie Yancy both came through our Adult Education program before going on to run a hospital network that treats close to 50,000 patients a year. Ohio Representative Jason Stephens and Chesapeake Union Exempted Village School District Superintendent Doug Hale also joined the visit.
Proud to watch our current students walk the same halls our graduates now lead.
