From Attics to Artifacts: Help bring the 100th Fall Festival to life!

Hey, !

We're working to create a Walking History Museum for the 100th Fall Festival weekend, and we need your help to make it awesome.

The museum will be a place where we learn about the evolution of the festival through artifacts and mementos, an interactive experience where we can reminisce with each other while walking through Arcadia Valley's 100-year tradition.

And we need your help.

We’d love to borrow mementos from your Fall Festival experience:

Carnival tickets, meal tickets. Float boxes, float decorations. Costumes, dresses. Bowties, bouquets, and boutonnieres! Scrapbooks, programs, posters, newspaper clippings, yearbooks, photos, videos, and all the things we can’t think of right now!

Look through your attics, your mama’s attics, your grandmama’s attics and see you can find!

Artifact Collection Point:

Career Tech Center
Monday—Friday, 8 a.m.—3 p.m.
Be sure to label/list what belongs to you and we will return it after the festival.

One more thing…

We need time to organize everything and see what else we’re needing, so we’re needing mementos by SEPTEMBER 1st.

We are gearing up for the 2026-27 School Year here at Arcadia Valley! This year is going to be an amazing year!

Open House
Thursday, August 20th
Elementary School: Preschool - 4th grade 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
Middle School/High School/Career Tech Center: 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

1st Day of School
Tuesday, August 25th

School Supply Lists
We have school supply lists, however, we will have all the supplies any students will need. We understand the financial demands that families have and want to ensure that you know we have every child covered if needed. However, we also know some students and families enjoy purchasing their own supplies like their favorite pencils or decorative notebooks. Also if you can't find something on the list or don't have time to get it, don't worry... we have it covered. We also appreciate the several local businesses, churches, and individuals who generously donate materials and supplies every year to help!

Upcoming Back to School Dates:

Aug 10-14 any new student to the district needs to head to the building offices to enroll for the upcoming year

Aug 10 - anyone is welcome to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our Early Childhood Center (pending some of the final things happening in the construction process)

Our Bus Drivers are the BEST!

Join the team putting smiles on kids faces 1st thing in the morning and after a big victory on the court! Needing substitutes and extracurricular trip drivers!

We will train you and pay for all your licensing/fees after you have begun driving for us.

We are counting down the National winners of our three art contests starting on Saturday, July 18. Each day leading up to National Convention, we will share National award-winning works from the Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest, 3-Dimensional Patriotic Art Contest and Illustrating America, concluding with the National first-place winners of both the Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest and 3-Dimensional Patriotic Art Contest on July 25.

As always, we remind visitors to our Facebook and Instagram pages to remember that these works of art were created by talented students in grades K-12.
