The Welcome Week Resource Fair is happening today, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Riffe Rotunda at OHIO Southern. Grab lunch from the Chick-fil-A truck and meet the people behind the resources available to you here and across the region.

Everything you need to start the year strong, all in one room.

The Welcome Week Resource Fair brings campus and community resources together in the Riffe Rotunda at Ohio University Southern tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by to meet the people and organizations that can help you get settled, find support and make the most of the year ahead.

This one is open to everyone. Current students, prospective students, high school students and community members are all welcome. The Chick-fil-A truck will be on campus during the fair if you want to grab lunch while you're here.

Welcome Week is the perfect time to finalize your fall schedule, and OHIO Southern has two classes worth making room for. Day Hiking (REC 1001) and Fundamentals of Canoeing (REC 1130) are one-credit courses that meet on the trail and on the water instead of in a classroom. No experience is needed for either one.

New semester, new hallways to figure out. We've got you. Bobcat Welcome Stations are set up in Shafer Courtyard Aug. 24-25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., where faculty and staff will point you toward your classes, answer whatever you're wondering and keep you fueled with snacks. Between classes, come find us even if you know exactly where you're going. Giant Jenga, ping pong and co****le will be waiting, and a little friendly competition never hurt anyone.

Welcome Week is almost here. Here's what's happening at Ohio University Southern, Aug. 24-27.

Monday: Bobcat Welcome Stations open in Shafer Courtyard from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with directions, snacks and games. The origami bobcat hunt also begins. Find one, bring it to the Library and redeem a prize pack.

Tuesday: Welcome Stations are back in Shafer Courtyard. Stop by for directions to class and a snack, then stick around for giant Jenga, ping pong, corn hole and pickleball between classes.

Wednesday: The Resource Fair takes over Riffe Rotunda from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., connecting you with campus and community resources. This one is open to students and the community at large, and the Chick-fil-A truck will be on campus for lunch.

Thursday: OHIO Spirit Day. Wear your green and white and drop by the Office of Student Services. Our staff will have the office stocked with snacks and can't wait to meet our newest Bobcats.
