**Pickup Procedure Reminder**

Parents,

With our increased enrollment this year, we are experiencing some traffic backup during afternoon pickup, including vehicles backing up onto the state route. We appreciate your help with a couple of simple adjustments that will help keep pickup safe and moving smoothly.

**Please do not arrive on school property before 2:50 PM for regular dismissal.** We have had some vehicles arriving 30 minutes or more early. School is still in session, students are using the playground, and we cannot open the side parking lot until it is clear. Early arrivals create a line before pickup can begin and also create a security concern with vehicles parked around the property while students are outside. If you need to pick up your child before regular dismissal, please park in front of the building and come into the office to check them out.

**If you selected the 3:15–3:30 pickup time, please do not enter the pickup line until 3:15 or later.** Your child will still be in class during the first pickup group. Arriving at your scheduled time allows the first group to clear out and ensures your child is in the hallway and ready when you arrive.

These small adjustments will make a big difference in keeping traffic off the highway and making dismissal safer and quicker for everyone.
