Another great reunion group! 1961! We'll share the 1986 group later this week!

Led by West Irondequoit Foundation President (and fellow IHS alum), Mr. John Loury, members of the Class of 1961 toured Irondequoit HS on July 25. Soooooo many changes since their time here! It was part of their 65th reunion! Tours are led by West Irondequoit Alumni Association and the WIF. The classes of 1986 and 1996 have upcoming reunions. 💙💛Led by their former IHS Principal, Dr. Patrick McCue, members of the Class of 2006 spent time last Saturday morning touring their old high school. It was part of their 20th Reunion Weekend! Tours are led by West Irondequoit Alumni Association and West Irondequoit Foundation. Dr. McCue is a West Irondequoit Foundation board member. THANK YOU! Last week at the annual Grades 11-12 Awards, the West Irondequoit Alumni Association handed out nine Generations of Excellence Scholarships, given to a member of the Class of 2026 who had a family member who previously graduated from IHS. Each student received $1,000! This is the most the WIAA has ever awarded and that is possible because of our generous community and its support for events such as the All-Alumni Fundraiser each Thanksgiving Weekend. The third annual event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 28! The nine scholarship winners were:

THANK YOU to all players and local businesses who supported our 6th Co****le Tournament fundraiser! Topping the list, of course, is title sponsor, Diamond Packaging. We raised more than $1️⃣3️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ that will go toward grants to support the West Irondequoit CSD. Special thanks also to the Town of Irondequoit Community Center and Recreation Dept. staff for helping us host the event in their wonderful facility! Registration starts at 5 p.m. and bags fly at 6 p.m. A field of 32 teams will compete for the $700 first prize; runner-up earns $200.
