Studio By The Tracks Studio By The Tracks is a nonprofit organization serving adult artists with autism spectrum disorder

Studio By The Tracks provides opportunities for adult artists with autism spectrum disorders to sell their artwork through our in-house gallery, the Studio Store (open Wednesday through Saturday from 10am to 3pm), as well as through our annual fundraisers and seasonal gallery shows. Our artists receive 60% of each sale of their artwork, and the remaining funds are used to sustain studio operations

. Our goal is to provide a career path and social network that empowers our artists, and to advocate for their inclusion within the realm of contemporary art. Our unique culture-based children's art curriculum is administered in-house to boys ages 6-17 from Glenwood, a residential treatment program for boys experiencing behavioral and emotional disorders. We believe in the power of art and self-expression as a means to process emotions, heal from trauma, build confidence and reduce anxiety. SBTT provides a social avenue for self-expression and growth, and an opportunity to focus on their strengths and interests rather than on limitations.

Take a look at the work of Joaquin Cortinas!

Joaquin came to the Studio with some well-developed drawing skills already in action. His work so far mostly focuses on American and Japanese comics and pop culture. His passion, patience, precision, and ingenuity produces clean, graphic drawings and paintings in vibrant, friendly colors as well as classic black and whites. Inspired by his favorite artists in the comic genre, Joaquin brings a focus and dedication to the craft that belies his age and never fails to impress.

“The Flex Programs Manager leads SBTT’s flex and community-facing programming, including our Transitional Programs, Community Art Nights, and new pilot initiatives. This role also supports core studio programs, exhibitions, markets, and studio accessibility. This role works closely with the Program Director, Studio Programs Manager, and Marketing Manager to design, staff, and evaluate programs that serve adults and young adults on the autism spectrum, and to represent SBTT’s work through exhibitions and community events.”
