Here is our current PTO Sign-Up Leaderboard! The class with the most sign-ups by next Friday (9/4) will win a special treat from the PTO!

Don't want to sign-up online? No problem! The form attached to this post will be going home with students early next week for those who would like to pay with cash or check! You are also welcome to print this form and send it in with your $5 membership dues. Please make sure forms and money are secured in an envelope labeled "PTO Dues" so teachers can place it in our box for pick-up.

If you are unsure about joining the PTO, or would like to know more, we encourage you to attend our PTO in the Park event this evening. Drop by the front playground (or the cafeteria if it's raining) anytime between 5:15-6pm to meet the executive board and learn about opportunities to get involved.

Who doesn’t love a before and after picture!?

With the funds we raised last year, we were able to purchase a mat for the Gaga ball pit to help reduce the amount of dirt and mud that was being tracked into the school.

Installation began at the end of the summer just before school started, but the hot temps and rainy weather delayed our progress.

This evening the stars aligned and we were able to complete the installation!

Now students can enjoy the Gaga pit while keeping their shoes (and the school) a little bit cleaner❤️

Today may be the first day for students, but our teachers have already been hard at work getting their classrooms ready, so yesterday morning we treated the staff with our annual Welcome Back breakfast!

We hope that everyone has a wonderful start to the school year at the amazing Iron Station Elementary School!

A quick note for this year: all membership sign-ups and payments will be completed electronically through our website. We will not have paper forms or collect membership payments at Open House. Moving everything online will help us stay organized, streamline our accounting, and make it easier to connect members with volunteer opportunities throughout the year!

Iron Station Elementary PTO

We had one last celebration to close out the school year!

Today we gave the fifth graders a little surprise to celebrate the milestone end to their elementary school years!

A huge thank you to Amanda Mallernee and Megan Wilson for donating treats and volunteering to present them to these very awesome kids, who have worked so hard!

It’s always bittersweet to see our fifth graders move on, but we are so excited for them as they enter a new chapter with new beginnings! We wish you all the best and will be rooting for you!
