Meet Me Monday — CJ Chryst

First and foremost, I’m a man of faith, a proud American, and someone who deeply values responsibility and education.

I’m a second-generation law enforcement officer, having served with Charlotte PD and the North Carolina Department of Corrections. I’m also a second-generation fi****ms instructor for pistols, rifles, and shotguns.

As a North Carolina Certified Concealed Carry Handgun Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer, my mission is simple:

In our class, you’ll learn firearm safety rules, North Carolina laws, legal use of force, safe storage practices, and complete your live-fire qualification — all in a comfortable, welcoming environment designed to help you focus and learn with confidence.

We cannot WAIT to train with you! Before your class date arrives, please make sure you’ve:

🔹 DRESS WARM!
Our range is right next to the classroom, but it is outdoors and definitely not climate controlled. January weather likes to keep us humble — so come layered and ready:
• Jacket / layers
• Gloves or hand warmers
• Closed-toed shoes (gravel terrain)
• A warm hat (or hey… pick up one of our FFLLC hats on site 😉)

Your comfort = better focus + better accuracy.

🍽️ Lunch + refreshments are provided and K-cup coffee is available on-site to keep you warm and fueled all day.
