Iron Mountain-Kingsford Community Schools

On Friday North Elementary Preschool welcomed in Waylenn’s mom, Kristen, from Florence County EMS. She was kind enough to show our students some of the different equipment they keep in their medical bags. Kristen also read our students the book, “Do Not Lick This Book” by Idan Ben-Barak and Julian Frost.

Timmy was our student of the week and his Mimi came from Illinois to read a book to the preschoolers.

Paige Fortner, RN, visited Iron Mountain Kingsford Community Schools North Elementary Preschool to talk about her job and read a story during Community Workers Week.

Officer Matt Opolka visited Iron Mountain Kingsford Community Schools North Elementary Preschoolers Thursday morning. Opolka is the liaison officer at Iron Mountain schools and came to talk about his job and read a book during Community Members Week.

Timmy’s Mom Kaela and sister Thea came to read “Goodnight Moon” and “Brown Bear” to the Iron Mountain Kingsford Community Schools North Elementary Preschool class on Tuesday.

Timmy is our student of the week. Timmy’s Dad Austin brought his dogs Ace and Jayda when he came to read “Cranky” by P**c Tran and Pete Oswald Monday morning.
