The Bishop Baraga Catholic School office will be open during the summer on:
📅 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
⏰ 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Please note: The office will be closed June 8–12.

Schools out for summer at Bishop Baraga Catholic School! ☀️🎉💙🤍

Our last day was filled with faith, celebration, and community. Students attended Mass, followed by our monthly “Caught Being a Christian” awards and end-of-the-year awards—congratulations to all of our amazing students on their hard work and accomplishments this year!

We wrapped up the day with a fun ice cream social shared with families on a beautiful, warm day. 🍦💙🤍

Wishing all of our students and families a safe, joyful, and faith-filled summer. Rest up… because we know those kids will be back in the fall a few inches taller, a little louder, and somehow still asking, “Do we have homework?” 😄

After an incredible 40 years of teaching middle school, Mrs. Michaud is retiring! 💙

She spent over 30 years with Norway-Vulcan Area Schools and the past 7 years blessing Bishop Baraga Catholic School with her dedication, passion, and love for her students. Her impact on generations of learners is truly something special.

When she’s not in the classroom, Mrs. Michaud enjoys all things crafty and creative, cheering on her favorite sports teams, organizing family gatherings, and keeping her pre-teen grandsons busy and off their screens. 😊

As she begins this exciting new chapter, she’s already making plans—starting with her son’s wedding this fall, followed by some well-deserved road trips with her husband and tackling projects around the house. (She’s also accepting ideas!) 🚗✨

Thank you, Mrs. Michaud, for your years of dedication, care, and inspiration. You will be deeply missed, but we are so excited for all that’s ahead for you! 💐💛

🎓✨Kindergarten Graduation Highlights✨🎓

Yesterday was such a beautiful and emotional day celebrating our kindergarteners! 💙🤍

From reciting their A–Z Bible verses to singing their special songs, these students truly shined. One of the most touching moments was hearing Mrs. Flunker highlight each child’s unique, God-given gifts—it was so special to see how well she knows and loves every student. Her heartfelt message at the end (through tears) had many of us tearing up right along with her. ❤️🥹

Congratulations to our amazing kindergarten class—and to our 8th graders as well! We loved being able to capture a few special moments with both classes together. What a full-circle celebration!

Last Thursday, our talented 4th and 5th graders took the stage and delivered an incredible performance of Joust! A Mighty Medieval Musical! From brave knights to royal laughs, they truly brought the medieval times to life!

We are so proud of each and every student—they did an AMAZING job! 👏✨

A special thank you to Mr. Flunker for his dedication and hard work in bringing this production together, and to our wonderful Parent Association for providing the fantastic costumes!

And thank you to everyone who came out to support our students—we loved sharing this memorable night with you!
