Last day of Preschool! What a fantastic year of fun and learning. Thank you to all our wonderful families for everything you do for us and for sharing your beautiful children with us ❤️ Have a wonderful summer ☀️ We are excited to see you next year!!
May was fun in Pre-K! This month has been full of letter and sight word reviews, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors. We also worked on zoo animals, farm animals, and transportation.
We had so much fun in Preschool, May was gone in a blink. Zoo animals, complete with elephant blow noses. Farm animals, the lions are always my favorite project. Transportation, a fun game of red light green light, and painting with matchbox cars! We also enjoyed the beautiful day and colored outside with chalk.
April was filled with so much fun in our Pre-K class. Spring is an exciting time! We learned about and created projects for honeybees, caterpillars becoming butterflies, and all the beautiful flowers starting to bloom outside. And our spring days would not be complete without a trip to the park or obstacle courses.
We finished April with Earth Day, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. And check out our line! We have worked really hard all year staying together ❤️
Today is our Spring Program! We will be live at 5:30!
Monday was Earth Day 🌎 We talked about recycling, compost, trees, and all the wonderful things God made for us all around us. We should all help to keep it beautiful. While outside, we noticed that the snowplow had pushed away some of the rocks from the side of the church. Mr. Mark brought us a wheelbarrow and we cleaned up the rocks and they are back where they belong!
Spring is in the air in our Preschool class! Nursery rhymes - we made a puzzle out of Humpty Dumpty. Talked about the weather - an umbrella complete with raindrops. Bees and Honey bees - it was fun to make a bee hive by painting bubble wrap as a stamp. Flowers - they need food, water, and sunshine just like us! We are also working hard on getting ready for our Spring Program!
Due to the predicted weather, we will be closed tomorrow! Stay warm! And enjoy your extended spring break ☃️

What a fantastic end to March and start to our Spring break. TWO readers and baby BUNNIES!
Have a wonderful break and a blessed Easter.
March Bulletin Boards
March went by so fast! We enjoyed reading month with new stories and projects to go with them. I think “If you give a Mouse a Cookie” is my favorite. We are working extra hard on our large motor skills using the balance beam and hoola hoops. Our Bible story was all about Jesus’ disciples, the last supper and his empty tomb. Have a wonderful spring break and a very blessed Easter!
It’s hard to believe this is March. We have experienced winter, spring, and fall weather in the last 3 weeks 😂 Snowman building, grass, and chalk! We have loved having our special readers in our room, with such great books. We had a special visit from a 6 day old baby goat. So much fun!! We said goodbye to our friend Colton B. and we pray for his family's safe travels as they move to their new military base. Our Bible focus has been on Jesus’ resurrection and the reason we celebrate Easter.
Our Preschoolers worked very hard learning about and using their 5 senses. We made listening ears, they helped us hear different sounds, magnifying glasses to see all around the room, talked about our favorite foods to eat, and made a person from all different textures to help us with touch. And what better way to finish than with popcorn, using all our senses together.
We finished our lesson on our 5 senses! I think their favorite days were the taste test, (lemons, potato chips, baking chocolate, pickles, and M&M’s) and using all of our senses for popcorn 🍿
We have a 2 hour delay today, Wed, Feb. 28. We will start at 10:00

February Pre-K! Ladybugs, sloths, and Valentines ❤️ We worked on strengthening our finger muscles by using tweezers to pick up pom poms. Worked on listening and coordination with rhythm sticks. Learned that by mixing primary colors we can make secondary colors. And let's not forget the snowball fight and musical chairs!
We celebrated Valentines Day this week in preschool. Fun songs, valentines, and a snowball fight. We ended with leaning how to mix colors to make more colors.
When it’s Friday and the teachers do not want to go out in the cold, we play musical chairs 😂 It was so much fun!
In preschool, we are working on fine motor skills and the beginning letter of our name. We talked about Groundhog’s Day and made Groundhog shadows! Burned off some energy throwing balls and finished our week painting with marbles, so fun!
Pre-K finished off January with snow people and enjoying the snow pile before it melted! Crazy! We took a tour of the church, they were so amazed at how big the church is, we had never pushed the number 2 in the elevator before. They worked hard with the counting jar and figured out different ways to count the items inside.
January in the preschool class is flying by! We are hard at work mastering our cutting skills. We made bear masks for hibernation and talked about some animals that love winter, polar bears and penguins. Can’t forget the snowmen, now that we have some snow. Ending our days playing with bean bags and having fun with scarfs!
