April is here! We talked about the true meaning of Easter and how Jesus saved us all. We made Easter egg wreaths, we took the magnifying glasses outside to see what we could find, did some exercises to get us moving, and colored with sidewalk chalk. We talked about weather this week, what the clouds are made of, and read the story of Noah’s Ark. Our rainbows were the perfect end to the week, and finally having some grass to run in ❤️
April has been all about Easter and weather so far. We made ducks with fuzzy hair by painting with forks, colored eggs by painting with plastic eggs, May flowers for our bulletin board (we’re hoping for sunshine), and umbrellas for all this rain. The parachute is always fun in helping get some of our energy out.
The Big Green Monster This book is so much fun! I highly recommend checking it out at the Dickinson County Library, it comes with a puppet!
March was reading month! We were having so much fun I didn’t get many pictures. Our favorite story was the Hungry Caterpillar, our project had us thinking about the order of the story and the things he ate. To celebrate St Patrick’s Day, we learned about the Holy Trinity. We made a 3 leaf clover with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirt. We played in the last of the snow, and did some yoga (they all love this).
Happy Easter!
Just a reminder our Preschoolers start back on Tuesday and Pre-K on Wednesday this week! We hope everyone has had a wonderful Spring Break!
No school today Thursday, March 24! Stay safe and warm and enjoy your spring break!
No school today Wednesday,
March 23!
Stay safe and warm
March is reading month, and our preschoolers have been busy creating projects to go with the books that we are reading! We also took a break and enjoyed some hoola hoop play, scooter riding, and yoga! We also did a little science for St Patricks Day...we painted clovers with baking soda paint and them dropped vinegar on it to watch them bubble.
Preschoolers have had lots of fun learning about their 5 senses! We made big ears for hearing, played I spy for seeing, made a person with different textures for touch, dotter pages for taste, along with a taste test of bitter, sweet, salty & sour, and for our sense of smell we made yummy popcorn!
Pre-K has been busy! An indoor obstacle course, and we played marching around the alphabet. Thankful for the nice weather we’ve had the past 2 weeks, we were even able to bring the sleds out! We have missed this outside time.
The past two weeks we have been learning about our 5 senses! Using our ears to hear different sounds, our eyes to work on hand eye coordination with catching a ball, our mouth to taste new things, our hands to guess what an object is without seeing it, and our nose to smell everything, especially the yummy popcorn we had to finish off our lesson! We also practiced balancing.
This week we learned about mixing colors! First we read the story ‘Mouse Paint’ and then we mixed our own colors. They all did such a great job at remembering what colors to mix together to make green, purple and orange!
Valentines Day Party!
Happy Valentines Day!
It’s been a busy month so far! A little bean bag toss, yoga and getting ready for Valentines day.
We have been working really hard on our counting. Last week our number was 17. We made towers of 17 blocks and then worked on making color patterns with the blocks.
Preschoolers turn for Olympic fun today! They made a torch light by painting their hand, luge racing was so much fun, medals for everyone!! Thank you Ms Kaye! 🇺🇸
We started February out with Olympic fun! They made ski jumps, had a luge race with little people in ice cubes, and scooter races! And everyone even won a medal! Thank you Ms Kaye for planning such a fun day ❤️

January is all about winter! Marshmallow snowmen, snowflakes and snow in the classroom. We have been talking about hibernation and migration. And we have the cutest bears I’ve ever seen. They worked so hard on painting and cutting! We started working with scissors this week ✂️ And after all the hard work we needed some fun. We ended our week with rhythm sticks.
We are so happy to be back together again after our Christmas break! Lots of learning and playing. We even had snow to play with inside! Last week we talked about all the fun things we can do in the winter. This week was all about hibernation, migration, adaptation and nocturnal animals. Some big words, but they did such an amazing job with all of it!
2 hr delay today, Monday, Jan 10! We will start at 10:00
