While today may have been dreary outside, students' joy lit up the inside.

It was fulfilling to see students make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, stir fry, dehydrated apple chips, piñatas, tissue paper flowers, a marble run, Lego builds, and fall animal portraits. They played volleyball, music, and color catchers. They learned how to make websites, about outdoor shelters, type, felt, write impromptu stories, and how to analyze hair evidence.

We are already looking forward to next week!

The smiles were contagious today!

Students had the chance to build multilevel homes in Lego Lab, painted fall themed watercolor animals in bigs Art, made ramen in Kitchen Art, cooked up tomato soup and grilled cheese in Culinary, played around the world in Spanish, used ferro flint to start subtainable fires in Survival, used essential oils in Herbalism, made homemade butter and biscuits in Homesteading, held tableau in Drama, detected trace evidence in Forensics, played color catcher in littles Gym and team scatterball in bigs Gym, wrote short stories in Creative Writing, constructed a marble run in littles Art, and made food labels in graphic design.

We celebrated our first student of the month for 2026-27 school year. Congratulations to Ivy Lane! She was nominated by her art teacher, Ava Roberts, for her passion, creativity, and integrity. She exceeded expectations for her online work as well! We are thrilled to have her as part of IMHP!

Otherwise, students and staff had a fantastic day full of exhilarating activities. We can't wait to spend next Thursday with you all again!

Wacky Hair day was a magnificent sight to behold. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Highlights today included: Making pancake art, graphic designs, drinking water bags, tortilla roll-ups, and herbal tea. Learning about Inattential blindness, change blindness, SNOT blocks, Spanish numbers, utilizing wool, stage business, projection, and making an entrance. Practiced shading with pumpkins, volleyball skills, building and so much more!

Student of the Month will be announced at 9:55am next week.

It was an magnificent first day at IMHP! Staff was impressed with how well students listened and participated in activities for the day. Thank you to all those who could make it to the welcome meeting this morning. We were thrilled to see so many new and returning smiling faces. We hope you had as wonderful of a day a we did. We look forward to seeing you again next week!
