One of the hardest things to grieve is the potential and hunger of a mother who is still alive. I work a lot with clients (men & women) struggling with mother wounds. The truth is so many of us struggle on Mother’s Day. You go down the card aisle and there isn’t a card that describes your relationship with your mom. Motherhood is ambivalent, y’all. Today, don’t fake your feelings. Feel your feelings. If the card doesn’t fit, make your own. Sending love and tenderness your way today. 💐💗

Forcing relationships, friendships, time, your kids to act right, your promotion, your next move. Anything you have to force, requires downward energy. If it works, it works.
