🏈🏐 GAME DAY PARKING INFORMATION 🏐🏈

Braves & Bravettes fans, please review the temporary parking and entrance map before attending our Iraan Football and Volleyball games.

🚗 IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION:

* Football & Gym Parking: Please follow the designated arrows and enter through the double gate.

* Overflow Parking: Available along 2nd Street and Blanton Street. Please follow the arrows and stay on the sidewalks when walking to the facilities.

* ♿ ADA Parking & Entrance: Designated ADA parking and entrances are shown in blue on the map.

* 🚌 ADA SHUTTLE AVAILABLE: We will have a shuttle available for anyone who needs assistance getting from the ADA parking area to the football stadium.

* 🏐 Temporary Gym Entrance: The gym entrance is temporarily located at the back of the gym.

* 🚌 Visitor Football & Band Buses: Please use the designated area shown on the map.

* 🚫 Areas marked with a RED X are CLOSED and should not be used for parking or entrance.

* ♿ ADA Parking Entrance: Access is through the gate off Harte Street.

⚠️ Please allow yourself a little extra time when arriving for games and follow all posted signs, arrows, and designated walkways.

📣 Iraan Elementary Dismissal Information📣

Good afternoon, Parents and Families!

Yesterday was our first day of school, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we work together to make dismissal safe, organized, and efficient. ❤️🖤 Each day will get smoother as everyone becomes familiar with the process!

⏰ PRE-K DISMISSAL – 3:50 PM
Pre-K students will be picked up beginning at 3:50 PM.

If your child is NOT in Pre-K, please wait until 4:00 PM to enter the pick-up/drop-off zone. This will allow us to dismiss our Pre-K students first and help reduce congestion.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 FAMILIES WITH A PRE-K STUDENT & OLDER SIBLINGS
If you have a child in Pre-K and another child in a different grade:

Please drive through at 3:50 PM to pick up your Pre-K student.
Drive around and return at 4:00 PM to pick up your other child/children.

🚸 SIBLING PICK-UP
All siblings will be grouped together for dismissal at the location of the YOUNGEST sibling’s grade level.

🚶 WALK-UP PARENTS/GUARDIANS
If you are walking up to pick up your child and are not using the vehicle pick-up line, please wait by the fence near the handicap area.

Once teachers and students are completely outside and in their designated dismissal areas, you may proceed to your child’s teacher.

Please do not take your child without notifying the teacher. This is extremely important so we can ensure that every student is safely and properly accounted for.

Please have your YELLOW PICK-UP CARD clearly visible in your vehicle with your:
Student’s Name & Grade Level

We are all learning the new dismissal routine, and we will get better each day! Once our system is established and everyone becomes familiar with the procedures, dismissal will move quickly and smoothly.

📢 UPDATED FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL PARKING INFORMATION

Please see the updated parking map for the first day of school. Due to ongoing construction, these parking arrangements will remain in place until a portion of the HS/JH parking lot is ready.

🚧 The construction company is currently hoping to have a portion of the parking lot ready by the end of August, although the timeline could extend into mid-September.

🚌 BAKERSFIELD & SHEFFIELD BUS ROUTES
Daily drop-off and pick-up will be in front of the cafeteria until further notice.

🚗 STUDENT PARKING — PLEASE READ!

Students, please be advised that there are TWO designated locations for student parking.

• Parking along the curb between the Administration Building and the former tennis courts is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.

• If there is no room available along that curb, students MUST park in the other designated student parking area shown on the map.

🚫 Students may NOT park in the designated parking spaces at the Administration Building at any time. Please make sure you are parking only in one of the two approved student parking areas.

We understand that these temporary arrangements may not be the most convenient for everyone, and we greatly appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation as construction continues.

Attention! A handout was given to parents and students today at the HS Meet The Teacher Event that needs clarification. The handbook reads: "All students must wear shoes. Shower shoes, roller shoes, and slippers are not allowed due to health and safety concerns". Crocs and dress sandals were identified by visual as improper attire incorrectly being referred to as slippers.

Properly worn crocs and dress sandals will not be considered slippers and will be allowed for general wear. However students should refrain from wearing them to athletics, woodshop/welding, or science labs where a higher level of safety is needed.
