Recently, the University of Iowa Fraternity and Sorority Life honored two Brothers of the Alpha Beta Chapter with awards!

Brother Eddie Forsythe (pictured on the left) received the Emerging Leader Award! In his role of Vice President of Recruitment, Eddie received 10 accepted bids in Spring Rush of 2020. One of the highest we have received in a long time. As only a sophomore Eddie has two more years to make an even greater impact on the chapter, and U of Iowa!

Brother Brandon Eckhardt (pictured on the right) received the Mary Peterson Fraternity/Sorority Member of the Year! During his time at president of the chapter, Brandon lead Beta Theta Pi out of troubled situations and into an era of success! Since he is a senior, Brandon will be leaving the chapter this month and head to Minneapolis, MN to achieve success in the field of investment banking!

[Scholarship] Today is the OFFICIAL LAUNCH of the 2019 Men of Principle Scholarship! This year, we are offering three $1,000 scholarships for the 2019-2020 school year. It was a successful day for the brothers of Beta Theta Pi! Today, we held our annual Tacos for the Troops philanthropy, and it was another successful event! With that said, we would like to thank everyone who made this event happen. Thank you to our VP of Philanthropy and Community Service, Jake Williams and his philanthropy committee, for organizing and making this event a reality! Thank you to Midwest Military Outreach, Inc. for partnering with us again! Lastly, thank you to everyone who came to this event and/or donated money in support of our cause!
