UIowa Pi Alpha Phi - Pi Chapter

UIowa Pi Alpha Phi - Pi Chapter Pi Alpha Phi Fraternity, Incorporated is the first Asian American Fraternity established both in the nation and at the University of Iowa.

We were founded on campus on September 10, 2011, and obtained chapter status on November 17, 2012. Starting out as an interest group called L.A.A.A.Ph. in Spring of 2011, a group of dedicated young gentlemen came together with the passion to create a lifelong legacy at the University of Iowa in order to better themselves and the community surrounding them by making new friends, learning about and

embracing Asian culture, increasing leadership qualities, improving academic skills and approaches, and helping the community. On September 10, 2011, L.A.A.A.Ph. was officially recognized as a Pi Alpha Phi colony at the University of Iowa. On November 17, 2012, the colony was officially installed as the Pi Chapter of Pi Alpha Phi Fraternity, Inc.
