The scholarship may be applied to early career professional development/research projects, conference/workshop attendance, or college expenses to include tuition and books but must be used for the purposes of health sciences librarianship.

We are pleased to share exciting news from the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 6. After nearly a year of uncertainty about our program’s future, we and our NNLM colleagues across the network are excited to share that we have secured additional funding through an administrative supplement from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Library of Medicine (NLM). This support will enable us to continue our work through April 30, 2027.

For more than seven years, the NNLM Reading Club has been a sustainable community outreach program. Designed as a national toolkit to promote health literacy, the program set out to award book kits to NNLM network partners such as academic health science and public libraries to raise awareness of All of Us and precision medicine and to share health information resources from NIH, NLM, and NNLM. As we turn a new page, continue to search the NNLM Reading Club. With more than 200 book titles and over 50 health topics to choose from, you are certain to find something to read and share.
