Each year, the Iowa City Music Auxiliary hosts a Car Wash to raise money for ICCSD band, choir, and orchestras. Because of the pandemic, we canceled the physical fall car wash and we are bringing a new and different kind of fundraiser!

This year, we are selling bags and jugs of salt to melt the ice on your sidewalks and driveways this winter!

Costco has partnered with us to provide a socially distant fundraiser! Salt Pre-orders will be taken online in October. Then, patrons will pick up their salt on November 10th, at Costco in Coralville. Parent and Student Volunteers wearing masks will load up the salt using our easy carline pick up in the Costco parking garage.

The funds raised will help purchase sheet music, equipment, PPE, entry fees, and more – for music students from 5th–12th grade. Our goal is to raise $25,000 with this fundraiser.
