Four teams of CEE students will be presenting their designs created for Camp Courageous today beginning at 4:00 pm. The design plans include a multipurpose trail system, a nature education center, stormwater management plans and ways to reduce contaminants in source water.
Water quality plans being presented today for Camp Courageous The project at Camp Courageous will allow community leaders, elected officials, farmers and other residence to see several practices in place to improve water quality.

The U.N.'s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals at the focus of the new program are sweeping and ambitious. Approved in 2015, they range from ending hunger and poverty to making sanitation, education, population health services and clean energy more broadly available. The new Sustainable Development graduate program at The University of Iowa will begin enrolled students this fall to help students learn more about sustainability.

We welcomed our Advisory Board to campus today, thanks to all of you for coming and your support! Some of our FACE and ASCE students presented to our Board, and our Board made the annual trek over to view the Corn Monument. Thanks to all who came, participated, and helped out!

Our students faced unexpected challenges in the building of the 2021 Corn Monument. They rose to the occasion and it turned out GREAT! Great job to the 2021 Corn Monument team! We're so proud of you.
Between Monday's and today's storms, our American Society of Civil Engineers student chapter did an outstanding job of restoring this year’s Corn Monument! It is wonderful to see our Homecoming tradition back on the Pentacrest!

CEE Professor Salam Rahmatalla, has published a book entitled, "Prehospital Transport and Whole-Body Vibration", detailing his discovery that some medical patients, particularly those coming from war zones, may experience more pain or discomfort while being transported for medical help than they felt initially.
