π΅ What a gift. What a legacy. β€οΈ
To celebrate their 50-year reunion, the City High Class of 1976 raised nearly $35,000 to launch a new Digital Music course at City High this fall!
The Foundation for ICCSD was proud to host the Class Gift Fund and help support this alumni-led effort. Their generosity will provide students with the technology and tools to create, compose, and explore new opportunities through music.
Thank you to David Hamod, John Murphy, and the entire Class of 1976 for investing in the next generation of Little Hawks. Your impact will be heard for years to come. πΆ

Congratulations to Penn Elementary Teacher Ashley Duthie on receiving the Shine Award!
We are proud to support this award that recognizes staff who go above and beyond for our students. π
"Even when the world is full of teachers, you are the one I will always take with me. The one I will always be grateful for after I leave your room. The person who proves how you see yourself, your future, and the world around you."

This spring, every 1st grade student across our district learned about Shakespeare and theater through storytelling and hands-on acting activities β right in their own classrooms!
Through a Bard Buddies Workshop with our friends at Riverside Theatre, every student played a part. No auditions required β just imagination. π
The Foundation for ICCSD is proud to support moments like these through our Any Given Child program, ensuring arts experiences reach every student across the district.
A heartfelt thank you to our community supporters and to Riverside Theatre for bringing the arts to life for our 1st graders. π
