We are so excited for our 2nd graders to attend the Nolte Academy show at the James Theater! It’s going to be great!!

Penny & the Wolf is returning to The James Theater! For the second year, this production is part of Iowa City School's Any Given Child campaign, and all district second graders will enjoy our theater and the show!

This year, the community is also welcome to join us for two evening performances of this beautiful and whimsical ballet featuring Nolte dancers.

Join the Foundation and Iowa City Community School District for our annual 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲. School supplies will be collected during business hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 at the ESC (1725 N. Dodge Street).

Today was a great day! The district fourth graders went to the Voxman for Symphony Goes to School. The UI Symphony Orchestra performed two shows today and judging by the students reactions, it was a huge hit! It is so nice to be traveling to field trips again!! With that said, this would not have been possible without the support and funding from Foundation for the Iowa City Community School District.

We are half way through our 2nd grade field trips to the beautiful James Theater! A huge thank you to the very talented Nolte Academy and their dancers (many of who are in the ICCSD as well). The Any Given Child-Iowa City program is now operating under the Foundation for the Iowa City Community School District. We have many diverse, interactive, and inspiring arts experiences coming up for K-8 students for 2022-23! Our programs are completely funded by the Foundation for ICCSD with thanks to our generous and gracious donors, without which we could not offer these fine arts experiences. Stay tuned!
