University of Iowa APhA-ASP Chapter There are multiple ways to get involved in the University of Iowa APhA-ASP Chapter! Attend our monthly events! Serve on a committee!

The mission of the APhA Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is to be the collective voice of student pharmacists, to provide opportunities for professional growth, to improve patient care, and to envision and advance the future of pharmacy. APhA-ASP is the nation’s largest student pharmacist organization with over 30,000 student members from across the country and provides opportunities for

student pharmacists to become involved through patient care projects, community outreach, international organizations, career programming, professional development and more. We typically hold our monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month. Learn more about APhA's Legislative Process in the Policy committee, be creative and participate in the PharmFlix committee's video competition, or be involved in our yearly silent auction as a part of the Fundraising committee! Be a part of our patient care project events! Here are all of the patient care projects that our chapter participates in.

From developing leadership skills to advocating for the future of pharmacy and connecting with student pharmacists from across the country, SLI was an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and represent the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.

We can’t wait to bring what we learned back to our chapter! 🖤💛

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💙

A huge thank you to Prairie Patch Farm for bringing llama therapy to our APhA-ASP community! We had so much fun spending time with Earl and Benny, and it was the perfect way to de-stress and recharge during finals season.

We would like to give a huge thank you to the Vine Eatery and Tavern for hosting our fundraiser and supporting our mission. Funds raised will be used to support our organization’s initiatives, providing opportunities for students to grow professionally and get involved in community initiatives through patient care projects! We are also extremely grateful for everyone that showed up and supported us - it was an amazing night!
