We are beyond proud!

WOW! Willowwinders have outdone themselves on the literary front. This year, we are bursting with pride as we celebrate eleven students whose original writing is being recognized at the Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature's One Book Two Book festival later this month.

Congratulations to Jasper H.(3) and Grayson H.(6) whose work was selected in the Write Stuff category, and to Vance V.(2), Cohen M.(3), Max B-M.(4), Emma Y.(5), and Zariah J.(6) whose work was selected in the From the Heart category. Last but not least, congratulations to Anna B.(2), Edie S.(3), Rowan E-L(4), and Molly N.(6).

A big THANK YOU to all of our incredible teachers. From our preschool and kindergarten teachers who build foundational literacy skills, to our 5th/6th grade teachers who help their students refine and elevate their writing, we are grateful for all that you do to support these young writers.
