Music Therapy Job Posting from Dawn Miller! This is an established Music Therapy position at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater and Westfields Hospital in western WI.

This full time Music Therapy position is divided between these two Health Partners hospitals. This person would be on our Health Partners and Park Nicollet Music Therapy team, and could eventually be part of our internship supervision team.

Graduate student Jayda Hunstad is leading research focused on teens recovering from surgery, developing music-based tools to support patients during the often-overlooked months of recovery at home.

We have completed another wonderful semester with The University of Iowa Music Therapy Program, during which we sang, played various instruments, danced and made up our own songs. We learned to express ourselves through the music and inspire each other. Thank you Jenna, Ella and Naomi, we loved spending this time with you 🎶

🎶✨ Tremble Clefs Iowa at UUS Coralville ✨🎶

What a meaningful and uplifting Tremble Clefs Iowa performance at the Unitarian Universalist Society in Coralville! 💛

Tremble Clefs Iowa is more than a choir. It is a therapeutic singing community for people living with Parkinson’s disease, along with their caregivers and loved ones. Through music, participants work on voice, breathing, articulation, and expression, while also building connection, confidence, and joy.

The group shared not only beautiful music, but also a powerful reminder of what music can do: strengthen voices, foster community, and create meaningful moments of connection. Singing together supports communication, socialization, and overall well-being, and it was inspiring to witness this in action.

If you or someone you know is living with Parkinson’s (or if you simply want to support this incredible community) we encourage you to listen, attend a performance, and reach out to learn more. No prior singing experience is needed, just a willingness to connect through music.
