🎵 Music Therapists: Join an Exciting NEA Research Labs Project! 🎵

The University of Iowa is seeking board-certified music therapists (MT-BC) to participate in a grant-funded research opportunity with Tremble Clefs Iowa, a therapeutic singing group for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, care partners, and family members.

Gain hands-on experience, contribute to research, and help support a vibrant community music program. Compensation is $33/hour with potential opportunities for publications and continued involvement.

🎶 We’re excited to celebrate Ellie Durr and Katherine Fox, two of our wonderful music therapy graduate students who spent their summer as part of Communication Explorers!

Over the past six weeks, Ellie and Katie planned and led music therapy sessions for children who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH), creating opportunities for connection and joyful engagement through music!

Lyra began studying piano at a young age and discovered music therapy following her undergraduate studies.
