🌟 Intern Spotlight: Henry Olson 🌟

Say hi to Henry, an incoming senior who is double majoring in Finance and Risk Management & Insurance! This summer he completed an internship with Mariner Wealth Advisors in Des Moines, Iowa.

He shared an inside look of his experience:
"Working as the only intern alongside a small team, I was able to directly contribute to client relationships by modeling cash flows, building retirement plans, and reallocating assets within investment accounts. Additionally, I learned a fleet of software including Holistiplan, Orion, and Emoney which I earned a certification in! Mariner approaches planning through a holistic view and allowed me to see how estate and tax planning play a large role and are usually services that aren't offered by other firms. Overall, I learned so much and have a deeper understanding of the fundamentals that contribute to someone's financial plan and life goals!"

We're so proud of Hawkeyes who apply their skills outside the classroom through internships! Thanks for sharing, Henry! 👏
