TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) at the University of Iowa is a federal grant funded program by the U.S. Department of Education.
TRIO SSS serves 350 students at UI who demonstrate academic need and are first generation, or low-income, or have a verifi U of I TRiO SSS: 'Enriching Students Today for Tomorrow"
TRIO SSS serves college students from varying identities: first generation, low income and students with disabilities. TRIO students receive individualized coaching with a TRIO Student Success Coach, are eligible to receive peer tutoring, and take support classes taught by a TRIO coach each semester.
