Blue Belt test. Four candidates come out of the crucible as newly minted Blue Belts. Congratulations to .h.44 , , Gage and Joshua. Your consistency and dedication is evident and we are immensely proud to call you ICBJJ Blue Belts.

Extra congratulations to Gage and Joshua who both started in our youth program years ago. Gage has leveled up to be a blue belt along with his Dad !

Congratulations to Andrew on his promotion to Blue Belt last night! Very well deserved. It’s great to have him back on the mats with us!

Congratulations to ICBJJ’s newest Brown Belt, Silvia!!! She joined us as a brand new beginner when she moved from Brazil and has been a consistent force on the mats since day one.

She is our second female Brown Belt and shared the mats last night with our first - Coach Kat. Such an honor to be their coach and help provide a safe and respectful mat for women to train.

Unfortunately, Silvia hit a deer before practice last night (Iowa problems). With that in mind, and with the color of her new belt, she has accepted her new Jiu-Jitsu nickname of… Bambi!

Congratulations to our newest ICBJJ Blue Belt, Hayley. Hayley has been on our Law Enforcement Officer scholarship and is the first female, and first non-Iowa State Trooper, to achieve this rank. We are proud of her and all the LEOs that train with us!
