Thanks to everyone who came to the party! We had a blast seeing so many of the people who made this center great. Parents, kids, staff - it was great to see all of you. And thank you, everyone, for all your kind words and for being a big part of my life in Iowa.

Sharon’s retirement/birthday party is 2/18/23 at Old Brick, from 2-6 pm.

Please come join if you came to Brookland Woods (aka the Mary Jo Small Child Care Center), or worked for us, or picked up kids from us. Sharon will be moving away this summer, so this may be our last chance to have an Iowa hang out. Love to see everyone!

Hello all! Sharon will be retiring and holding a party on February 18th, venue TBD. Former staff, alum and parents/caregivers would be welcome to attend! Mark your calendar and spread the word! We will add details as we get closer.

Brookland Woods is open (with some changes for health and safety with regards to COVID) and it feels so good to see kids having fun and playing in the sand!

Please call us if you are looking for childcare. We offer full time and part-time spots in a small, play based center.

As summer approaches and families get ready to move on for a variety of reasons, we wanted to thank you for a great year. We have loved getting to know your children and families.

The t-shirt fundraiser has ended, and shirts will be delivered in May. If you would like to help the center in another way, the website has been updated with the Amazon wish list and a link for Amazon smile (0.5% of all your purchases go to the center if you start at smile, so you can donate while shopping- what’s not to love?).

We are also accepting enrollments for summer and next school year. We offer flexible part time options, so please contact Sharon or Jill about your plans, share our information with friends, or feel free to write a review here or on care.com.
