As a student at Iowa, being the first Jewish person a fellow student met was far too common and exhausting. Spending my four years of undergrad on the Hillel Student Board gave me a space to freely be my unapologetically Jewish self and to also grow into a dedicated, responsible, and creative leader. Hey Chicago Alumni! This Friday at Iowa Hillel is Parent Shabbat. While we know not all of you are parents to Iowa students, but if you're interested in sending up a side dish for Shabbat dinner, please go to our website and fill out the form linked below on or website and you can drop off your dish at Lila Leah's house in Northbrook! Please share with your fellow alumni whom you think would be interested! We also have another side dish drop off in Des Moines.
