There’s just something about fall at daycare… 🍁

The crunchy leaves ✔️
The little boots ✔️
Pumpkin everything 🎃
Apple snacks 🍎
Cozy sweaters 🧡
And of course… the beautiful chaos that comes with it! 😂

Today’s question for my daycare friends AND parents:

🍂 What is your child’s favorite thing about fall?
🎃 Pumpkins
🍎 Apples
🍁 Playing in the leaves
👻 Halloween
🧥 Wearing cozy clothes

Let's play a quick game! Tell us in the comments...

🌈 If your toddler could have a pet sea animal, what would they choose?

Easy cupcake recipe

Here's a simple, fluffy vanilla cupcake recipe that's perfect for baking with kids.
Easy Vanilla Cupcakes

Makes: 12 cupcakes
Ingredients
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1½ teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup (1 stick) softened butter
¾ cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup milk

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin pan with 12 cupcake liners.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla.

Add half of the dry ingredients, then the milk, then the remaining dry ingredients. Mix just until combined.
Fill each cupcake liner about ⅔ full.
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool completely before frosting.
