📢 Schedule Updates 🚨

With the heat expected this week, there are a few schedule changes for our Mustangs:

🏈 Football
Today: Practice/film in the lecture hall at 4:30 PM. Bring shoulder pads and helmets. Plan to go until 7:00 PM.

Tuesday & Wednesday:
Morning: 5:45–7:00 AM @ Riverside
After school: 3:45–4:45 PM. We may practice depending on conditions.

⛳ Girls Golf
Tomorrow’s meet at Oswego will now start at 10:00 AM and will be 9 holes.

🏃 Cross Country
Thursday’s meet at Anderson County High School will now start at 10:30 AM for the High School. MS races start at 9 AM.

HOSA is open to students interested in exploring healthcare careers, building professional skills and getting hands-on experiences outside of the classroom.

We already have several exciting opportunities coming up in October, including:

Women in Healthcare – October 7
Healthcare Workforce Development Day – October 20
Mentors in Medicine – October 23

These events give students the chance to learn directly from healthcare professionals, explore different careers, and participate in hands-on experiences.

Registration for the first October events begins September 2. Students interested in joining HOSA or attending any of these events should see Mrs. Seufert for more information or to sign up!

You don’t have to know exactly what you want to do in healthcare—you just have to be interested in exploring! 🩺🧬🫀

Each team will get 16 offensive and 16 defensive plays per opponent (8 varsity/8 JV).

What a night! 💙💛

Our Blue & Gold Scrimmage was an awesome way to kick off the fall season! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on our Mustangs and help make the night so special. The energy and support from our community was incredible!

We also had a great ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open our new turf field. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate this exciting milestone with us, and a special thank you to the Iola Area Chamber of Commerce for helping organize the ribbon cutting and making it such a great event. We’re so excited for all the memories that will be made on this field! And one more big shoutout to the Mustang Tailgate Crew and Simple Soiree for providing some awesome food for our athletes and everyone who came out tonight. We appreciate you!

What a great way to kick off the year! 💙💛

We had an awesome first pep rally of the year as we get ready for tonight’s Blue & Gold Scrimmage!

Don’t forget to join us this evening for our ribbon-cutting ceremony and scrimmage! We’ll be watching the heat closely throughout the afternoon. If we need to make any changes to tonight’s schedule, we’ll let you know right here on Facebook first. As of right now, everything is still on schedule!
