💗 Calling all ICS Moms! 💗

Our first Hearts & Hands meeting of the year is tonight, August 31 at 7:00 PM in the school gym!

Come connect with other moms as we make plans for a great year ahead! We’ll talk fundraisers, sign up for committees, vote on projects, and share what’s coming up at ICS.

✨ Believe • Grow • Serve ✨

Throughout this school year, our chapels will center around Believe, Grow, Serve. Each month, we’ll focus on a new Bible verse that encourages our students as they grow in their faith and learn more about what it looks like to Journey with Jesus.

We begin with BELIEVE and Matthew 22:37–39:

“Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Our first chapel is Wednesday morning.

Yay! 🎉 The first day of the 2026–2027 school year is here! 📚✏️ We are so excited to welcome our students back and begin another year of learning, growing, and Journeying with Jesus together!

A quick reminder for today:
🍎 1:30 PM dismissal
🚌 West Lyon bus riders: Afternoon carpool is needed.
🚐 Inwood Christian vans will be running as usual.

As we begin a new school year, we pray for God’s blessing over our students, staff, and families. May He guide us throughout the year as we learn and grow together, always remembering that Jesus is with us every step of the way.

📚 Back to School Night is almost here!

Join us for our Open House & Chapel on Monday, August 24!

✏️ 6:45 PM – Bring your kids to their classrooms to drop off supplies, meet their teachers, and see their friends!

🙏 7:00 PM – Chapel begins in the gym. Students will sit with their class.

We’re looking forward to starting the year together—connecting as a school community, lifting our students, staff, and families in prayer, and asking for God’s blessing over the year ahead.

We can’t wait to see you there! 💙

Happy 4th of July! The students shared their love for our God, our country, and our liberty in the Inwood 4th of July Parade today! You might have even heard them singing "God Bless the USA!" ❤️🤍💙

Join us for Registration Night at Inwood Christian School on Wednesday, June 3 from 6:00–8:00 PM at the school!

We welcome both current families and new families interested in learning more about our school community. Stop in to register, ask questions, or learn more about what makes Inwood Christian special.

One exciting opportunity available to ALL Iowa families is the Iowa Students First Education Savings Account (ESA) program. The ESA program provides over $8,000 per student toward tuition at accredited nonpublic schools, and all K–12 Iowa students are eligible regardless of income.
