We finished up our last full week of summer break with a Party Day. 🎉🥳🔫🍨🍿
Big fun outside-water slide, water guns, bubbles, and popscicles-until we got rained out 😞
Afternoon movie with popcorn.
And finished up the day with ice cream sundaes.
Our last 3 days will be super chill.

So this week the kids wanted to do their own talent show and ‘shops’. We said go for it, but if you’re going to do it, put in the effort and do it right. And they sure did! They practiced and worked really hard on their acts, crafted ‘merch’ for their shops and created tickets for everyone to shop with. They totally brought it and did a great job!

This was our Food Week and the kids had a great time with food projects every day. On Monday we made our own butter and Tuesday we made home made bread. They loved having the bread and butter THEY made.
On Wednesday we made fruit salsa and cinnamon tortilla chips.
The kids used their culinary skills to cut up all the fruit and they did a great job. I think this was their favorite snack ever, even beating the cookies we did Thursday!
On Thursday we decorated cookies with piping bags and they got the hang of that really fast! Today (Friday) they made their own pizzas and had them for lunch. They also were very creative with ‘What superhero would I be’ for their Journals.
Great week!
