Inver Thrills Team The Engineering Community is a place to spread your wings!!

The IHCC Engineering Community is an organization of students who share a common interest in a variety of engineering fields. As a member, students will enjoy many engineering related activities such as projects, tours, guest speakers, competitions, and much more. The club is intending to participate in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics' Design Build Fly competition. Most of c

ommunities projects are hands-on, and involve learning and applying principles in engineering, design, and production. We work well as a team and always welcome new members who feel they have something valuable to contribute.

We flew our rocket one more time after Huntsville. This time we finally got a successful on-board video. Here is the edited version. The video was initially recorded sideways during launch due to the orientation of the camera. We rotated the video here during the launch. We designed the camera to stay on the horizon during descent. This is done by a gyro-stabilized servo. The camera looks out a window in the side of the rocket.
